Default Howdy From Texas

Hi all,

My name is Jamey and I'll probably own a 2004 X-Type in a few days. I'll have some questions....I hope to be helpful to someone else someday, and I can't believe I'm going to own a Jag!

Thanks Jim and thanks for this forum!! This has beena God send. I just happened on to the Jag I want late last evening. I have been on my laptop since I got home from test driving the car.

I feel much more confident since I found this forum. FactoryJaguarTech is researching a question about the cell phone for me, and I've found answers for everything else on the forum. I am researched out!!! LOL

Since today was Sunday, I'll be calling my credit union tomorrow and hopefully, I'll be a Jag owner by the end of the week!

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome. This forum was a major factor in pulling the trigger on this car!

"You better give some serious thought about thanking your lucky stars you're in Texas." What part of the state?

Be sure to drop by the 'Headcount' forum in the Regional section as well.

You're our first member from the pandhandle area. Didn't know there were any Jag dealers in Amarillo, definately not any in Lubbock. lol

If we start working on it now, maybe we could meet in College Station. It's a half way point.

Ada-boy Jamey! Do some poking around in Amarillo and Lubbock, see if you can find yourself a jag tech, just in case you need one. It's gonna be really hard to read some of those 'enhanced' codes if you ever run into those type of issues. Just have a plan, in case. Till then, enjoy the ride, appreciate the bystander gawkers, keep 'er clean (i know west texas has alot of dust, but do your best) and get us some pictures when you have a chance!

Oh I did before I bought my car. There is a guy here, who has been in business for years, that works on them!

My kids have already named the car "The Big Kitty"

I LOVE this car!
