As the title suggests I do not actually own a Jag but my friend has just bought one. He is actually a mates Dad and not very Tech savvy so he has had me help him get use to some of the gadgets such as Bluetooth, locating the driving light switch etc. Most of the time this just involves me reading the manual and showing him how something works. He has a 2008 X-Type, 3.0-litre V6 petrol. It is a very nice car and by the sounds of it he got it for a really good price.
As i mentioned earlier most of the time i could read the manual and show him how something works with one exception which saw me spend hours reading through thread after thread on this forum looking for some information on reversing cameras. I really enjoyed reading the threads and spent just as much time reading threads unrelated to my problem as i did on the camera issue. I still don't have a conclusion on my problem but i will post that is a different thread probably titled something like "Help solve the mystery of the disappearing Reverse Camera".
I myself like to think of myself as a car enthusiast, I have owned a variety of different cars/4WDs. I am currently driving a 2013 Mazda 3 MPS. Heaps of fun to drive, 190kw but still can be quite fuel efficient if the turbo is not always at top boost.
As you've already found your way to the X-Type forum, there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
