I'm in
Hello All;
I've been a lurking reader for some time. However I'm now active as a member. Why now? Well the sickness has struck again; thus my name. Yes I'm sick; and not because I'm a pervert. Well anyway.......
Yep, I've decided to buy another car. I have suffered from this sickness all my life. Maybe since age 14 anyway. Now at 69 I'm no better. I've been reading here again, did a lot 6 years ago before buying the XJR; and appreciate the wealth of info you guys share.
I need help! Yeah I know, see a doctor. I started with the goal of an '05/6 XKR because I love the lines. IMHO prettier than the X150. However I've been seduced by the idea of 510 hp. Who doesn't want 510hp? I do!
I've learned about the primary issues with these cars, but have some specific questions. I'm not a mechanic, so issues will need to be addressed by a dealer/ indie mechanic. Experience has shown that knowledge of an issue before going to the shop usually saves money by cutting thru the BS. So I'm hoping you folks can give me some guidance. I will post specific questions individually to keep it focused.
Thanks in advance.
Rob

Welcome to the forum Rob,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the X150 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
You can also visit the USA North East Region forum by following this link US NorEast: ME NH VT MA RI CT NJ NY PA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
