Intro and help requested
Cheers, I recently purchased a 2002 x type 3.0 for my daughter. The car was a one owner 60k miles and very well cared for and frankly the all wheel drive is the perfect set up for our unpredictable Colorado weather. I have enjoyed researching both my purchase and questions and thought it best I join in the fun.
Today the vehicle began making a squeal of sorts from the water pump area. I believe it is in fact the pump and am planning the simple replacement. Although I have no active leaking I can clearly see dried AF in and about the t the pump area. Are there any other parts you all recommend I change at this time other than of course the gasket and possibly belt? What type of AF seems to be preferred? Thanks all,
Rob

Welcome to the forum Borpa11,
Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section for help, advice and information. The guys there will help on additional items such as Thermostat and any hoses that should be done at the same time. In addition, the 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You may also like to visit the US Central Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/central-us-mt-wy-co-nd-sd-ne-ks-36/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forum.
