Introducing ... Me
Greetings all,
I just joined this forum so as to share information with the Jaguar experts here.
I am probably one of the only people on Earth who owns multiple Jaguars and multiple El Caminos. Go figure
In the mid 1980s I owned a 1976 XJS. I sold it a couple years after buying it (thankfully).
Then about 20 years later I decided to get a (hopefully) better one since the prices for nice ones seemed to be favorable.
So I then found the earliest of my three current Jaguars: a 1983 XJS HE coupe with 32,000 actual miles.
Then a few years after that I bought a 56,000 mile 1986 XJS HE coupe. This one has been sort of a "problem child", but I'm working through it and I think I'll get it sorted out with the help of folks here.
And now I'm in the process of acquiring a 2006 Jaguar XKR convertible Victory Edition. I'm really looking forward to that one (already made a deal on one, currently awaiting transport of it to my location).
I'll post some pictures once my new one arrives.

Welcome to the forum dcarr,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link US Central - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

You just never know! When I purchased a Rolls-Royce several years back, I figured I was probably the only person in the world who owned both a Rolls and a Ford Pinto. Then, a few months later, I purchased a second Pinto. It was a very nice, low mileage, car from California. It came complete with documentation of everything that was ever done to it and a photo album full of pictures of the car from when it was brand new in 1972. There it was, in a picture taken when it was brand new, parked in the owner's garage alongside his white Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow! Go figure!

Rolls Royce and Pinto ...
That is an odd combo !
And you are not even the first, apparently.
