Introducing myself to the Jaguar family
Hi everybody, my name is Matt Baumgartner. I live in the small city of Marion WI. I am 17, and my set of wheels is the 2004 Jaguar X-Type 2.5L V6 with a 5sp manual, standard package, silver in color and black leather interior. I'm a Jaguar guy at heart and love the mystique and prestige that is Jaguar. I'm psyched to be on this forum sight and hope one day I can know enough about these incredible cars so I can help the young just like me in years to come. That's about it for a standard intro, you'll surly see my name quite a bit.

beast dog, thank you! I'm sure I'll enjoy the constant company of fellow Jaguar lovers, all my friends are VW and Audi drivers so I find myself arguing with them quite a bit about cars. By the way SWEET RIDE, that is actually my most favorite car in the world right there (besides the CX-75 of course).

Hi Matt:
Welcome aboard and greetings from the Midwest Region of the forum. Congrats on the new X-Type. I'm sure not a lot of guys your age are driving cars like that. Heck, not a lot of guys my age are either! But neither do many folks want to put in the time or energy into 'knowing' their cars well enough to make repairs affordable, etc. Getting involved on the forum will most certainly make Jaguar ownership that much easier. So in that way, you are right. Jaguar is a lifestyle.
By the way, I'm from Wausau and my wife is from Green Bay. So we're very familiar with your neck of the woods.
Have fun and drive safe!
