Hi, I am new to the Jaguar Forum. I live in Indiana. I am the owner of Driving The Dream Inc. We do customs, restorations, and preservations. I have recently acquired a couple of Jags; one 1964 MarkII and a 1984 XJ6. I know, neither are impressive or desirable. I actually just got them in order to use the suspension for another car we are building. I am hoping to learn more about Jags from joining this forum and to hopefully sell the 64 markII and part out the 84 XJ6.

Hello, Kelly,
Actually, both the MkII and especially the Xj6 have Numerous fans and devotees. The examples you have may be neither "desirable" nor "impressive," but to many of the Public these cars represent the pinnacle of automotive styling and grace and they draw admirers wherever/whenever they appear in a parking lot, especially if they're well kept.
These cars can be identified as Jaguars instantly and instinctively by people of all ages, whereas, the "more desirable and impressive" (does that mean new?) frequently fade into a crowd of look-alikes and wannabees.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
