Introduction
Hi from Brisbane, Australia. I’m new to this forum but not to Jaguar. I currently enjoy a black 2006 XJR with 95K klms and a blue 2001 XJ Sovereign SWB 3.2 with 140K klms. Bought the XJR 2 years ago, intending to replace my Sovereign, but couldn’t bear to part with its refinement (and my wife loves it too!). Both are XJ’s, but very different characters. Don’t need to explain the difference to most XJ owners, but my XJR is powerful and agile, while my Sovereign is sedate and more refined. I'm ever grateful to this and other forums for the technical and other information I have gained over the years, including the personal satisfaction and cost savings of resolving my own problems. I have joined this forum so I can now (hopefully) give back to the Jag community.

G'Day Bruce,welcome aboard.
XJR of that year would be my dream car. (do they call that black 'Anthracite' or was that earlier like mine)
As I post this I hope both cars are out of the weather that Brisvegas has been getting. Look forward to your sharing some of the experience you have gained.
Hope you enjoy this forum,it is a wealth of information.

Not wrong about the storms up here Neil, more today. 50,000 cars hail damaged in the big one 2 weeks ago.

Welcome to the forum Bruce,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Follow Norri's link in post #5 to the X350 and X308 tech forums advice, information and to post your own input.. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
