Introduction
Just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I am very interested in purchasing a Jaguar. As a newbie, I welcome advice from experienced members and owners. The first Jaguar I looked at was a 1995 XJS V12. I was very interested until I did some research and finding out about the nightmare to replace the AC condenser. So I am looking at the XJ6 and XJ8 models. I am not new to European luxury cars, I used to own a Mercedes 300SEL 6.3. So I understand about maintenance.

A well maintained XJS V12 is a superb vehicle but anything needing work is not the best choice as a first Jaguar.
