Default Introduction

Hello All
My name is Simon and I live in Brisbane, Australia.
We have just purchased a 2000 S Type 4.0 lt in a beautiful Blue.
Original paint work all rouns and only 130k Kilometers (81K miles).

The Bride currently runs a Peugeot RCZ which comes off lease in November 2017. This is planned to be her replacement.
We love it. Quiet and comfortable, lovely.

We also have 1928 Plymouth tourer

I am a fitter and turner by trade, built Formula 5000 race engines back in the 70's. Currently work as a 3d design draftsman from home.

Love working on my own cars, but wonder how I will go with the new Jaguar.
Just changed ALL the timing chains and guides. runs much smoother, but sadly overheated today ;-(

Hope to learn from your collective knowledge base :-)

Yeah, what's up with that? But isn't there a saying... The more Aussies the merrier?

Welcome Simon!
