Good day everyone. I hope I’m doing this properly, we live in Florida, originally from NY. We own a 2017 Jaguar F Pace named Whitney (obtained used if that matters).
Currently we have an issue with the battery low warning light. It is the original batter I believe ( marked 32/17). After we replace the battery can I, without any extra/special tools reset the modules? If so, how. Or is this something we need the dealership for. They quoted us $500. Which seems like a lot, to buy and replace a battery, that cost 22$ on line. If we have to, then we have to. I’d rather spend that on our upcoming anniversary trip.
thank you in advance for any information recieved.

Welcome to the forums PI Guy,
The code 32/17 indicates the battery was manufactured in week 32 of 2017 and is therefore most likely the original unless there was a very early issue with it. Strictly speaking, Jaguar approved diagnostics should be used to reset the battery monitoring system (BMS) when a new battery is fitted but several members have found that fitting a new battery, previously fully charged overnight, makes this unnecessary. However, no guarantees - you could be unlucky.
