Introduction
Would like to say that after many years, lots of searching, I have gotten myself what I would call a beginner Jag. I say this because I am a purist with these cars and my ultimate goal is to come upon one that had NOT been soiled with Ford engineers.
I just as of this week purchased a long sought after XJS. V-12, four speed auomatic trans. Black with tan interior.

Welcome to the forum NtAFord,
The XJS V12 is one of the most complex Jaguars and also one of the best when running properly.

Good morning, NtAFord: Welcome to the forum, to the world of Jaguar, and to this helpful forum. I'm sure you'll discover plenty of folks who will help you keep the car going for years. While developed in the BL years of ownership, my cars do somewhat benefit from the Ford 'meddling'... So there is very much blessing in the curse!
Cheers and enjoy the ride!
