Hi Folks,

Jabba here from Kapiti, New Zealand. Just picked myself up a 2010 XF S 3.0 Diesel for the city run (60km each way over Transmission Gully) - be interesting to see how it compares. Picked it up in Palmy and the cruise home was impressive. 5.3 litres to the 100km, comfy as heck and overtaking no issue at all. The only challenge so far is getting the feel for how quick it is, as speed will creep up with no drama.

Will be seeing to the stereo pretty early on, I would imagine. Doesn't even have the USB input, let alone BT streaming - and the phone doesn't have a 3.5 jack.

Jabba,
My first Jag was also a 2010 XFS so pretty much identical to yours other than the colour (mine was Vapour Grey).
Zero problems other than DPF issues and incomplete regens, and that is by far the biggest problem on an older XF diesel so watch out for it and do your research.
Yes it can get crazy good fuel economy and also go like a scalded cat when you want it to.
I fitted a Race Chip tuning box which took it from 600 Nm to 700 Nm so more torque than an XFR and you might consider doing the same.
