Jag Noob
Hey guys, my name is Josh and I recently bought my first jaguar.
2004 JaguarXJ8
I've always been a VW/Audi guy owning mostly mk4 dubs and B5/B6 audis. Recently I've stepped out of my comfort zone and bought a 2004 Volvo S60R (which is my daily and I'm thoroughly enjoying) and of course the 2004 Jaguar XJ8.
The jaguar purchase was spontaneous because I loved the XJ comfortable luxury. I'm looking forward to working on the cat and learning this car.
I recently had my first major problem, "car too low". Blew my first air strut and didn't like the prices that were associated with repairing them. Haha. I went ahead and researched and done away with them by installing Arnott conversion kit. So far, so good. I will definitely post up on other topics as a review of how they ride soon.
Thanks for reading and happy to be pet of the forum. 🍻

Hello, Josh,
I'm told by those who claim to know, that a Comfort Zone is synonymous with a Rut, which is itself said to be a coffin with the ends kicked out. Life is dull and boring without adventure. Your 'new' Jaguar will Definitely give you Adventure!!
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Josh,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Follow Norri's link in post #7 to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
