I have recently purchased my first Jaguar.

2003 JAGUAR X-TYPE SE D 4 DOOR SALOON -
Full Jaguar Service History, 122000 miles. £1900
Pacific Blue - Full Leather Ivory.
now before you shout at me for the Diesel, this will be used for commuting to work.

I'm not well off otherwise I'd have a newer car, just wanted something reliable and excelent MPG that looked good. and the Mrs was moaning about walking cos I had her car, but we wont mention what that is...

I have been browsing this forum for a few days and getting lots of info about a few problems, some I knew about and a few I didn't, and thought i'd introduce myself prior to bombarding with all the questions.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Re your comments - No one here is going to give you a hard time over having a diesel thats for sure. As for your other car, what is it?
There's a smattering of other cars owned here from BMW, Merc, Audi, Porsche, Ford, VW etc so feel free to share.
