Jaguar Series 1.5 E Type 2+2 used in movie Silver Streak
Does anyone know the identity of the red E-Type 2+2 used in the movie Silver Streak? I have just acquired it's twin, or could this be the one? I seriously doubt it....but the Jaguar scene is the best scene in the movie. This '68 is a very solid and straight project car. I'm not yet sure what I want to do with the car. I need a few warm days to sort out exactly what I have here.
I have owned many E Types. Three roadsters, four coupes and four 2+2 models. I am currently restoring a '69 roadster and a '62 roadster. The series II '69 car will be signal red with black BAS interior. The '62 will be it's original spec black with red BAS interior. I also have a 1967 Mk II 240, RHD manual with overdrive.
