Hi I've recently bought a jaguar x type which was working fine and then the glow plug light came on the dash flashing followed by the engine management light I then took the car for a diagnostic and it came back that it was a fuel pressure sensor so I got the sensor changed it and then the car wouldn't start at all so put the old sensor back on and it's started the motor factor seems to think that there are no variations of this sensor that they all fit all x types help haha, thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums Leach3725,
When asking for help with diagnostics it's always best to post the ACTUAL CODES and not the DESCRIPTIONS you may have been given.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
