Default Jaguar X type wiring

Hi could anyone supply me with a plug and wiring to enable me to eject my sat nav dvd. Alternatively I have the plug so could anyone supply me with a wiring diagram so I know which wires are needed. I have removed the navigation player from the car and would like to be able to connect my navigation player to the battery and eject the navigation disc. I have taken it to my local car entertainment guy but he says he doesn't know which wires he needs to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum M. Fairhurst,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

You should add further details - Model Year and if the vehicle is Nav only or CD with Nav. Members in X-Type forum with the same model will be able to help. I suggest a re-post there.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Default Jaguar X type wiring

Hi Graham thanks for your reply. I have a 2003 jaguar X type. I have taken the sat nav dvd player out of the vehicle. It has a sat nav only. I wish to buy a plug for one of the sockets at the rear of the player to enable me to connect it straight to the battery ( with a fuse ) and eject the disc. Alternatively I still have the plugs so if anyone could supply me with a wiring diagram so I can make the plug up myself. Thank you
