Hi everyone,

This is my first Jaguar... I'm very excited to join the club. I've been shopping for an XF for a couple months now, and finally found the right deal. I drove 600 miles to Chicago to trade in my 2008 Corvette. I LOVE my Corvette, so this was not an easy thing to do!

It's a 2011 XF Premium, Stratus Grey Metallic / Black interior. It is a 1-owner car with 27k miles. It has the following options: Bowers & Wilkins, heated steering wheel, heated windshield.

I plan to do some things to this car... first thing is window tint and exhaust. I'm looking at the Mina system, but I'm also curious about having a local shop build a custom system for less $$. I'd like to lower the car an inch or so, and lastly I am hoping to find a set of XFR seats, or at minimum a set of 2012 seats - I find the 2011 seats very lacking in lateral support.


When I arrived at the dealership, they had the car all detailed and waiting for me in their showroom delivery area, which I thought was awesome:

I plan on getting some proper pictures soon. Stratus Grey has some awesome metallic flake in the sunlight that I'm hoping to capture.

Thanks for the kind words. Still adjusting to driving such a large vehicle, but I'm liking it more every day. My Mina exhaust should be arriving tomorrow, can't wait to hear how it sounds.
