Just another nerd, with yet another hobby.
Hi all. I'm Jan and I'm new to owning anything made outside Japan. That being said, I just bought my first Jag!
Well, most of one...
...well, a few parts on a replica of one...
Anyway! This past Black Friday I bought an SS100 replica project. I started a post on it, and also a blog (link on signature). I wanted to join here for help with specific parts and fitment, as well as possible parts sourcing. This will not be a quick project, and I look forward to finally cruising down backcountry roads.

Welcome to the forums Jan,
I've removed the link to your blog. You are welcome to run your "project" thread in Other Jaguar Models / Concepts / Replicas forum but that link triggers Google analytics harvesting IP addresses and service providers of anyone who clicks on it.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums and good luck with your project.
Graham

Understood, that makes sense.
Can you edit my build page as well, or allow me to do so, to remove the links there?
And would it be okay to to put a statement such as "Search for 'projectname' on 'sitename' site" with no URL-specific text? (EXAMPLE: "Regolith" on "JaguarForums", but with the other site name)
I will not be updating multiple places for every project change. I've done it before (search my username anywhere) and it got old pretty fast. All I want is to let others know the project exists and where to find more info on it.
I will be restoring my signature without the embedded link. If there was a different issue not mentioned previously, please let me know.
Thank you.

Signature looks OK now. Thank you.
Members have 24 hours to edit posts after which they become locked. This is a global setting so it can't be changed for an individual member without changing it for all. If your build post is no longer available to you for edit, let me know the changes and I'll apply them.
