Hi,
my new car I just got Dec/2017 is a 2018 model of f pace portfolio LE 35t yulong white and sienna tan windsor leather seats (that is the only color for this LE edition)
I got a good deal , just paid invoice price. So it is true best to buy car at end of the year. !!!
I asked them why sold to me at cost (truecar), they said the lot needs space for incoming cars...
They told me they did not make any money from me, but will make with the next one...
I also did not buy any extended warranties, or extra paint/dent/ packages the finance guy was trying selling me
But, well I never owned a jaguar, and and I don't see many driving around.
and the finance keep saying after 5 year warranty expire, that is when you need the 7 year extended warranty (2 more years past the manufacturer warranty)
I own 2 benz, and a prius. I am familiar with the mercedez service A/B maintenance intervals and associated $$$
I hope jaguar f-pace will be at least as good as a benz in terms of reliability and maintenance costs.
I still could buy extended warranty now, which is the reason I joined the forum today to ask other's opinion , or just comparing notes.
Did anyone here buy extended warranty?
Some facts:
Usually I don't drive much, since I have the other cars, and my commute is just 9 minutes.
In any year, I only put 9,000 miles in between three cars.
And I keep my cars very well maintained, and super clean.
My plan is to drive 4,000 miles on f pace per year. In 7 years, the odometer will be only 28,000 miles.
One of my benz is a 1999 C230 kompressor in mint condition with only 65,000 miles. Planning to put it for sale.
Thanks,
-chip
