Just bought my first Jag
Hi!
Just bought my first Jag, a 2000 XJR, Anthracite and Oatmeal. The car is mechanically perfect and extremely low mile, but was sitting somewhere for a while, which has caused a few small issues, and got hailed on before I bought it, so I'm tackling it as something of a restoration project. I've wanted one of these since the first time I laid eyes on one at the 2000 KC Auto Show, and now I finally have one!
I come from a long history of sports cars, including several Mustangs, 240SX's, 300ZXs, RX7's, and several odd ones like the 12 second turbo Festiva I had for a time. So the move to a big sedan is something of a change for me
Besides the Jag I also have a lightly modded 06 Mustang GT and an 87 RX7 Turbo II that is currently undergoing a GM LS2 V8 swap.
These forums have already helped me solve a few little issues, so I hope to add my own input as well, to help others like me!
