Just an intro...

I wanted to make my license plate say..."Finally" as that was what I felt when I was able to purchase my 2010 XKR coupe. It was more than I expected. It seems to put a grin on my face every time I drive it. I've been a car guy since I was 18 and I'm now 73. I've owned all kinds of cars, an 88 xjs convertible as well but this XKR fulfills all the things I think cars should be about. Beauty, grace, speed, grunt, great sound, superb brakes, leather interior... but you guys know all about that. I've raced amateur rally cars in the South Pacific in Papua New Guinea and won the 2004 Arizona Region SCCA ITC Road Race Championship with 8 first places but nothing I've done prepared me for the power this car puts down. As an exhibiting fine artist and 50 year graphic designer, I can also say that there's not a single bad angle of this car... the design is fantastic. I'm looking forward to every mile I put on her.
