Evening to one and all
Have just purchased my second Jag a 2.2d man X-type estate and so far very pleased, I expect I will soon have questions to ask.
My first Jag was in bought for £300.00 in 1968 when I was 18yrs old and had just passed my test in a Triumph Herald. The car was a MK11 3.8S and I went all over the UK and Europe in it, petrol was 4 Gallons for £1.00 and life was great!!! and no I wasn't loaded I worked for BT( it was the PO in those days) as an apprentice. The car was mint it used to be owned by a duchess, I wish I still had the car.
regards
Mike
