Just picked up this Jag
Hello All,
I'm happy and proud of my recently acquired 07' XK. Love everything about her. I used to own a 87' Buick Grand National and a 97' BMW 840ci. Both were all black and wickedly cool.
My GN was a labor of passion. I spent countless hours in the garage to get her to trim seconds on the track. I eventually sold her reluctantly for the sake of outside responsibilities.. In 05' I scooped up the beamer. Man that's when I started falling for that long front end sleek styling. I got a few good years out of her but finding and buying parts became increasingly difficult. When I got the 840, the car was externally gorgeous but internally there were minor issues that I didn't spot that turned into bigger problem. I bailed by selling her before I fell too deep into a money pit.
Still in love with that type of body design I found my latest 4 wheel passion. I scooped her up from carmax with about 35k on the odometer. My initial intention was to buy a winter car that was easy on gas... oh well. Man, I just love randomly taking peeks of her in my garage.. I get all tingly !
Well that's my story. I look forward to gaining more insight, sharing ideas and making new friends who share a common love for these classy rides.
Here are a few pics my baby and thanks for reading:
