Robert, aren't you fixing a half-dozen things on your parents xk? wipers, ABS, and others? Maybe i'm loosing it, lots of recent posts have jumbled the memories.

So, if you are, any particular reason you're workin on the jag? is it a surprise?

Welcome to the forum!

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Sorry GUS,

I have limited time to do the repairs before they get back !!

I will fill in the details and I'm terribly sorry if I was impatient or offended anyone -- It was not my intention !!

No offense taken! The big problem we have is that we get a question with a plea to help fix the car and we have no idea of the year, make and model. It only helps us to help you.
