At last I have a Jaguar.... that I call my CatXJ350
My name is Bob and finally in my senior years, I finally have a car that I have always desired, but never seemed to get from the "I wished" - to say " I have " Well now I can finally say I have.
I see many forum members live in North America. Well I live down unda in Australia, South Australia, to be specific and recently was accepted as a members of the local Jaguar Drivers Club of South Australia. It is a great club where I have met other Jaguar enthusiasts and enjoy the social activities as well as learn more about Jaguars from local members "talk"
My car is a 2003 XJ8, Aluminum body. It has travelled 124500 klms (77000 miles approx.) and I am now the 3rd owner. The car history is complete with service records and invoices, since purchase. It is obvious the previous 2 owners maintained the vehicle to a standard that defies it's almost 20 years life. In fact I have already been complimented on the car's "good looks"
The finish and refinements that were incorporated into the car at production, certainly lives up to the Jaguar motto of style and grace, Driving is a delight, cruising the highway in comfort and luxury.
I look forward to many years of taking the "Cat" out for a prowl with my wife . Long drives and events with the local club.
If you own an XJ350 say hullo, I would enjoy learning more about this great model and why it is your Jaguar of choice.

Welcome to the forums Bob,
Good to have you with us and congratulations on a long held wish come true. A well kept Jaguar can still look good-as-new after decades of proper care and in addition the Australian climate is a lot kinder to them than here in England.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Australia - South/ NT Region forum by following this linkhttps://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/australia-south-nt-95/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
