new member in austin tx. got a 97 xk8

 

acquired 97 xk8, been sitting for bout 5 yrs, its lit up like a christmas tree, excited get this thing up and running

car sat bout 5 yrs, full tank of gas, eventually started and drove fine, got it home: new battery, plugs, oil w/ sea foam, new gas w/ sea foam>>>now i get gearbox fault and engine light>>>i belief gearbox is due to low tranny fluid, which i'll add this wknd>>>also abs light and stability control fail>>>>any suggestions>>promise i will spend a little more time on getting a hang of this forum, just not enough time with work and kids
