Talking A little late is better than never...

Hey all!! I've made a couple posts already and have gotten quite a few ideas already, but I never introduced myself.

Picked up a '04 X-Type 3.0 back in 2007 and we've had a love/hate relationship since. The cars great, but there have been little things happen here and there that try my patients.

When she hit 114k mile...engine blew!! Now she's gotta 52k mile refurb in her and after only having the car back for a week...died!! 3 coils, 2 cam sensors, and a crank sensor later, she's back running. I just got it back last week, so hopefully we can make it further this time.

I've gotten a lot of help on here already and hope I can help someone in the future. I don't know too much about cars, but I do what I can.

Here's a couple pics and my "have to-do" list.

- headliner
- blower motor
- suspension
- clogged windshield washer nozzles (an easy fix, but haven't had car to do)
- power seat back tilt switch (seat back will come forward, but not back)

Here's my "want to-do" list

- navigation system (replace broken disk unit or new head unit all together)
- "cold" air intake (just for show)
- lower about an inch (maybe more in back if possible..sits too high)
- speakers and add a sub
- maybe some strategically placed LEDs
- more to come, I'm sure

Welcome to the forum chiefshb,

( I've moved your Intro post to its own thread )

Great intro and great looking X-Type.

I know you've already found your way around here so no need for me to give you a link to the X-Type section.

Enjoy the forum.
