Long time lover, first time owner

Howdy ya'll!
My love of Jaguar began as a youth, when I first saw a 60's E-Type. At 18 I purchased my first sports car, a '70 Triumph GT-6+, which I always called my mini Jag. Unfortunately for the car (and my neck/back), it was totalled a year later, when someone decided to embed their Nissan in it's rear end.![Frown](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Since then I've had many enthusiasts cars, including a '74 Opel Rally, '70 Charger Superbee and '83 RX7. If only I could have kept them all....
Living now in Chicago, for almost a year, I took a job selling cars (PM me, and I'll make you a great deal
). My girlfriend and I had an '04 Corolla S we enjoyed, but when this baby came on the lot:

I couldn't pass up the chance, to make a near even trade.
43,000 miles of pampered life, in near impeccable condition. She wasn't sure at first, but one drive and the woman was hooked.![Big Grin](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
All I need now is a left lens cover, and some elbow grease. The later I'm going to embark on, as soon as I complete this post.
Thanks so much for the forum. I'll be lurking around, learning what mischief I can perpetrate both here, and on the vehicle.

I've tried native and Opera Mini. Odd, considering I've never had issue on a VB forum before, even in Forum Manager. Oh well, guess I just need to be more cautious posting.
Bonnet is now gleaming with pride. Gotta mow the grass now, which of course is grown British Racing Green.
