Default Long time lurker, overdue intro

Yo to all,

Have had my Jag for a couple years, and registered here about a year ago, but have never formally introduced myself. Finally have some free time, so thought I would go ahead and do so.

First off, want to give mad props to the help I've received from the forums recently, especially in these two threads:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...p-step-220006/

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...y-slot-215938/

Have had my XF for about 3 years or so now. Most beautiful and temperamental car I've owned. Love the V8 and the ride. Bought it in Dallas, and maintain it in Austin. About 78k on it now. Thinking it might be time to look at replacing it, just due to the issues that may creep up. Time will tell. Take care.

Mike

Welcome to the forums Mike,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the X250 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-southwest-37/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome neighbor. Don't give up on it so early. My previous Jag didn't start to fall apart until it was about 15 years old and well over 100K. Maybe consider pre-emptively replacing all the PA66 nylon components in the cooling system very soon if you haven't already, but the rest should be fine for a few more years.
