Default Looking for a good Jaguar mechanic / Mod shop, California Owner Jaguar 2006 Portfolio

Hello from California,
My Name is Tony and I just purchased a 2006 XJ super 8 Portfolio with 70,000 miles in fair condition and looking at restoring all new custom interior upholstery, headliner wood trim, engine for performance and change out the front end bumper to a 2009 style.
Can anyone recommend a good mechanic around the OC / LA county that specializes in Jaguar besides dealers. I have seen some great engine Modifications on Youtube in England and would like to take a simular approach to renew this beast and get optimal performance .
Any experience on the best place to buy parts and restoration performance modifications would be appreciated if shared.
Thank you

Hello, Tony,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
In my experience Dealerships are not the best place to go for work on an "older" car of any brand. If it's more than 5 or 6 years old they often don't even want to touch it.

In the LA area there will be Many Classic Jaguar specialists, you only need to find one. I can't help with that, but there will be those who can.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
