Love my "old"Jaguar
I just have to share a few thoughts about my newly acquired 2002 Jaguar
Coupe...first of all, I did a very stupid thing in trading my 2003 Jaguar convertible...White, with only 60K miles. But the wife wanted a new conv. so we bought one, a Buick...Realizing my huge mistake I started looking for another Jaguar....At a classic car dealership...I found her...alone in a corner...silver and to me the prettiest car I've ever seen...( I must mention,
I've had over 40 new cars in my life.. name it, and I probably had it)
Anyway, this car had all the signs of 14 years of use...plus 91K miles. And while I'm not a mechanic...I bought her...Yes, this was very much like taking the older dog in the kennel instead of a puppy...To my surprise and much pleasure...the old girl just flies...Yes, there are a few squeeks from the dash,
a little worn leather but nothing can wipe the smile from my face when I'm driving her or just looking at her in the driveway...
Thank you for reading.

I think we All love our Olde Jags! That has to be the reason we tinker with them all winter, so we can drive them all summer.
Nothing takes the smile from my face either, especially when I'm on 101 north bound in the Redwoods at speed; and Lots of it!
I see you're not a new member but we haven't met, so Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
