Lowering Springs XJ6 1991
I'm really interested in lowering my 91 xj6 and putting some 19s or 18 inch wheels. I'm looking for about half to 1 inch drop and can't seem to find some lowering springs for a 91z I was thinking of cutting the coils (without heat) but I'm not so sure about that. Any advice tips?
* I know lowering or even cutting the coils would mean for a bumpy ride.*

Welcome to the forum Marcotropolis,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Norri has given you a link to the XJ6 Series III tech section but I think your XJ6 is more likely to be an XJ40 - both were marketed as XJ6 in 1991!
If I'm right, follow this link XJ40 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ40 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
