Lucky 2008 Super V8 owner in So Cal
Well hello guys and gals!
I am the proud new owner of a 2008 Super V8, having previously owned a (1988 I think) 2.8L XJ6 back in England, and a 2001 XJR a few years ago. The XJR had to go and I kept the 2000 E38 BMW 740i instead due to family friendliness...but now I have the Super V8 to put a grin on my face. Well I have already used the forum to diagnose I need a new thermostat...my BMW has 170,000 miles on it so I HAD to get my own scanner and get used to using the bimmer forums. The jag still has a few thousand miles and months left on the factory warranty to get some little issues sorted out, then she'll be back to new....off to make a post in the XJ section to see if anyone has any ideas on how I get an aux input (controllable from the front seat!) or satellite radio installed.
Cheers

Thanks for the warm welcome and upgrade to FFA. You are correct about the jag warranty, Norri, my local dealership has been very good in fixing the issues I have identified, and gave me a loaner as well. The car has 42,500 miles on it and only minor issues they have already fixed. I'll take it in next week for the thermostat.
