Default Me and my 72 E Type

Great forum...can't wait to dig into all of the good stuff here and make new friends.

My father bought this 1972 E Type S 3 from the owner of Boulevard Jaguar in Long Beach, CA back in August of 1972. He traded in his '69 E Type for the V12 (wish he hadn't done that, but I was only 4 years of age at the time). When he passed away, I moved the car out to MD where I now live. It had not run for 19 years and I was the last to drive it back in CA.

Had it brought back into shape by Terry Lippincott in Reading, PA. He did a good job, but there is just so much to do to this car and I had limited funds.

About two years ago, I was letting it run for a bit to charge up the battery and noticed a puddle on the ground after moving the car back to the garage. I assumed the fuel line let go somewhere and didn't have the cash to get it fixed (I love cars...just don't know how they work!).

I'm ready to get her back out on the road and thought I'd find a good forum to get some troubleshooting help. My next post will be in the tech help section.

Thanks for this great site!
