Default Merry Christmas from Wisconsin

Hello everyone. I just bought a 2002 X-Type to fix up for my son when he turns 16 in six months. I wanted him to have a project like I did when I was his age. Every kid should learn about cars at his age. It taught me alot working on cars and it has saved me many thousands of dollars over 25 years. not to mention the countless friends Ive helped out too. This Jag runs and drives nice but has some electrical issues starting with reverse light. Im looking forward to rolling up my sleeves with the kid and getting to work on it. When he turns 16, his best friend and him should be able to cruise for some nice high society girls with it. LOL

Welcome, captainmph! Greetings from the Midwest Region and greetings from a fellow Wisconsinite. Sounds like your son should be pleased and popular with his new wheels. Not all that many Jags in our neck of the woods... Enjoy the forum. You'll find lot of support to help you work out the gremlins.
cheers!
