Default Minnesota winters play tricks on our minds

I'm bored and shopping for my next fun toy. I am selling my 911 997 and hoping to get into the F Type R coupe AWD. I have been watching videos and reading up on them, and I'm ready to pull the trigger without even test driving one.

I've been a car enthusiast for 30+ years and have never really considered getting a Jag. My, times have changed. I'm pretty excited about this next chapter in my life. There aren't many F Types in my area, and I feel like I'll be part of some near extinct species if I get one. Looking forward to it. I'm not a fan of the verts, so I'm falling hard for the coupe and how sexy it looks to me.

Someone help me!

~David

Welcome to the forums David,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

It's February, David, we're ALL bored!
That's what February is for! It separates Winter from Spring.
In fact, it's a little known fact that "February" is a Fabrini word for Boring.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Thanks everyone!

Well, I am now known at the brand new Jag dealership closest to me. Bonus! Got to sit in a couple of new F Types, gave my number to the sales woman, met her manager who remembers me from another dealership, so I think that's good for me.

Uh oh! The salesmen know you? Watch out! As Elmer Fudd always said- "Shhhhh! Be Vewy Cawefew!" Were hunting Jaguars! Welcome and good luck.

They didn't know me personally, but they know I bought a 911 through one of their other dealerships that is owned by a parent company. I hope they don't hold it against me!

Looks like we have the same ailment. Good luck with your search. I'm looking as well. RWD though.

That's closer to being on the road than looking at one in the Dealer showroom.
