Question Model Confusion re CD Upload

Hi everyone on the forum,
In the last few days I have my first Jaguar and I am hoping you may be able to help me identify which year I should associate it with. The vehicle was manufactured in early 2015 but when I look at information about loading CD's to hard drive for that year the displayed information panel looks nothing like the one fitted to the vehicle.
I do not seem to be able to find the CD upload or CD changer info buttons?
Many thanks to anyone who can guide me in the correct direction.

Sorry for any incorrect Forum entries but this is also my first time on a Forum.

Perhaps ringing JLR corporate is a good course of action to get it sorted.

It would also be helpful to know the model Jaguar you're referring to.

Welcome to the forum NorthernDave,

A mild rebuke, not to be taken too seriously:

Should you have started a poll with your first post to the forum?
Option 1 - NO
Option 2 - NO

I've closed the poll.

I see from your profile that you have a 2015 XF. This is probably where the confusion arises. 2015 was a model change year from the original XF 2007-2015 (known by the factory code X250) to the current XF 2015 Onwards (X260). Do you have the earlier model and been looking at the current model CD upload instructions?

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hi Graham,

Oops, will do as you have suggested.

I suspect it is an XF 2007-2015 C250 I guess as that would explain everything.

Many thanks for your reply and I will try to get the hang of these forum thingy's.

David

Hi every one,
Many thanks for welcoming me to the forum and for the advice from GGG which was spot on.
Looking at the wonderful pictures of your babies you must be very proud parents to have motors as good looking as those. As an update I have taken my baby for a very long drive up the UK and I totally made the right choice as I did not feel like I had driven anywhere when I got to my destination :-)
