Hiya everyone

I stumbled across this forum while furrowing my brow at my father's uncooperative X-type key fob this morning and am happy to report the advice offered solved it nice and quick for me!

Although dad's X-type in question is nearing the end of it's time, I've just replaced it with a 2007 S-type 2.7 diesel, so the legacy will live on

I also have my own 2003 X-type, 2.5 petrol, which has been absolutely bulletproof the 5 years I have owned it.

I'll be sure to pop some photographs onto my sig as soon as poss, but right now, I can hear my work calling me!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Welcome to the forum - and one of the friendliest bunches of Jaguar fans you will find anywhere. I see Graham has pointed you to some great resources online here - one of which is the UK region. In this area you will find meets and all sorts of local info that will be relevant to you. If there are any meets in your area it is well worth going along as it will give you a chance to put names to cars and faces :-)
