Default My first ever Jaaaag

Hello all,

I have just bought a 3 year old 2009 XF 4.2L supercharged V8, Ebony white for less than the price of a 2nd hand camry. It had it's 50k service yesterday, the only thing out of the ordinary was rear discs and pads and a warning that I need a new coolant overflow tank which I bought yesterday at 30% of the cost than the dealer could do. I don't hold a grudge about that, they provide excellent service in state of the art premises and need to turn a profit.

I live in Dubai and get to do lots of camel dodging high speed travelling on the outer bypass road.

Welcome Wayne,

That sounds a good deal on the XF. You'll find info and advice in XF and XFR ( X250 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section.

Got to see some pics of Jaguar versus Camel!

Hi Graham,

I do have a photo of stupid, single hump pedestrians and will post it tonight.

Hi Wayne,

And do the single humped ones always have right of way just like the two legged variety? If so, I can understand why the rear brakes were worn out!

Those are wild camels, they are as dumb as kangaroos but with much worse attitudes.

Wild camels! I learn a huge amount apart from mechanical issues on this forum.

Wouldn't like to nudge one of those with a plastic front bumper.
