Default My first Jag

Howdy all,
Bought my first Jag...XJ C V12...Dad had one for 20 years, plenty of problems which I hope I don't have.
Are there any interchangeable parts from a 2 door XJ from a 4 door?...
I am guessing under the bonnet is the same and probably the boot too..are they the same length?
I am interested in drivers side door hinges...which are sagging... and the scuff plates on either side...
Any help appreciated.
Cheers - troy

Welcome to the Forums.

Looks a later year S2, so would be Fuel Infected, as apposed to Carby ???

Same under the bonnet, and almost everywhere else, as PreHE in this section, and the Early cars in the XJS section.
The body in mostly unique.

Depending on year, BW12 or TH400 trans (late cars).

A HUGE learning curve, and well done.

Always remember, these are SIMPLE cars, only made complicated by over thinking.

Good luck,

Hello, Troy,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar!
You Aussies have a Stash of these coupes down there. I'm guessing 90% of the Series 2 coupe owners on here are from Oz!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
