Default My name is Greg and I’m a caraholic.

Congratulations Jaguar, you’ve seduced me out of my manual transmission BMW 550i!

I’ve got a deal on a sight-unseen 2014 XJL Supercharged. I seem to buy blue cars and though this one was 1300 miles away, the remaining factory warranty, a clean Carfax, and a bit of optimism lit the fuse. I hope to meet it this week, get it certified through the dealership that’s helping with the transaction, and maybe drive it home by next weekend.

Thanks for all I’ve already learned from reading threads here... I’m happy to join!

PS... what was this car ever doing at a Toyota dealership?

Eleven. And trying to hold at that number. Just for today. Just for today I won’t buy a car.

Welcome. I know another Greg who is a car "hoarder" and thought uh, oh, what's he added now? 11 is how many he's forgotten he has so must be a different Greg.

That just means the PO got tired of messing with it and traded in on a car they could just park anywhere, drive anyway they like and never even think about maintenance. Don't worry. XJ is not going to leave you on the side of the road or anything, but Jaguars do need more constant attention. Its the price we pay for NOT driving soul-less appliances.

I don't see any issue's with eleven? That's because I do not have a problem like everyone else here. Hello Greg, welcome to our addiction.

I took a deposit on my BMW 550i... so long as it sells before the Jaguar arrives I’ll stay under a dozen!
