Default Need help to locate a Manifold Pressure sensor

I'm restoring a 76 XJS V12 with 39,000 miles on it and I've been trying to find this part. I've called Jag dealers with no luck, no help. They've told me to try to find a used one, I've called used parts dealers in a 7 states, no luck. Can anyone help me???

When I used to work on those cars back in the OLD DAY's I used ones from the Mercedes or Volvo?? cars. I think they are pretty much the same 'D' Jetronic pressure transducers as alot of cars used. Any car that used "D" Jetronic fuel injection would be a good candidate for a DONOR PART. The injector points in the distributors also gave trouble if not set correctly. You can pull the end cap off and 'TWEAK' the adjustable rod inside to change the signal to the ECM. I think I have one in a parts box somewhere in my PILES of junk but I can not promise I can find it in a timely manner. I have almost 40 years of collecting parts (packrat????)

If I find it soon, I will report back.

You should place a WANTED ad in the appropriate forum section.

I found my old sensor that I used for testing the old V12s. Unfortunately it is a sensor from a Mercedes. I know it worked well enough to help diagnose the fuel injection system. A proper Jaguar unit would be the best part to have.

I called a few buddies at other older shops that might have one of these but nobody has one.

Thanks to you all for the help.. I'm still hoping to find a Jag sensor but will try to use a Volvo or MB sensor. I'll let you know how that works out...
