Default New 2012 XFR owner

New 2012 XFR owner (two weeks), I LOVED THIS CAR, until a catastrophic failure!!!!! Another story, but Jaguar has impressed me so far with plans to remedy the situation.

Even delivered a nice loaner to our residence when they picked up the XFR with a roll back.

We honestly had not looked at a Jag since the new body came out in 07-08...and we loved it. The Bowers & Wilkins, and the looks are what got us into the dealer.

We have B&W speakers in our home, so I knew this would be the best factory system that could be purchased.

So yes I am an audiophile and it was important. We ended up going with a BMW. It was nice, but this car is in another league.

I look forward to corresponding with many of you, and utilizing your wealth of knowledge as a resource. Just can't wait to have it back. Having it less then two weeks, I was still breaking it in. Have not "really" gotten to drive it yet.

Thanks
Shane

Welcome to this friendly forum, Shane.
I can see the problem with your car from photo 1 - it has been built upside down.

I'm surprised this wasn't picked up at the factory - unless, of course, it was intended for the Australian market.

Thanks for the warm welcome Fellas! I do love this forum. Yes Steve, I am certain the upside down thing had a negative effect on it's performance...that was pretty good one. Not sure what that was, will read forum help to figure it out. Using MacBook Air and tried numerous ways to upload those pics, but it rotated them every time. I will give more details on what happened to my new XFR after all is settled with Jaguar. They told me today it would be a minimum of 10 days before it was ready to come back home.
