Another New Member - Smitten with these big X150s
Hi All,
I have been reading these forums for the last little while and love the camaraderie and passion for the X150 beasts I was going to buy an XKR a few years ago, but bought a property, which was the right decision at the time, followed by a Lexus ISF, which wasn't. Don't get me wrong, it was quick and fun, but I got the valley plate leak, broken injector connector ($$$) and I always wondered about whether I had a cracked header gasket even though Lexus gave it a clean bill of health - exhaust fumes in cabin at WOT.
Anyway, having had a "Euro" parts and repairs experience with the Lexus, I am back on the path and keen to get an XKR for myself very soon. I have narrowed it down to two cars, both Polaris white with 20" gloss black wheels, both just over 60k km's on the clock and brake upgrades from factory.
Car One has the black, speed and dynamic packs (MY15), and is about 10 grand more than Car Two
Car Two has a more genuine-seeming owner who has had the car since new (MY14). He has also provided me with an official Jaguar Dealer MPI report, but it has a few anomalies in the checks, like "Exterior temperature display" and "Heated windshields" -> NA
I can take or leave the black pack (although it looks awesome) and speed pack (though I love the body kit. and looks awesome), but has anyone driven the dynamic pack vs "normal knuckle" XKR suspension cars and can say that the dynamic pack goes around a corner that much better?
Really looking forward to having one of these in my garage soon and joining the fun with all of you.
Thanks for any advice and feedback on the Dynamic suspension vs normal.
Cheers, Jon

Welcome to the forums Jon,
I've moved your post from the end of an old 2014 Intro to a new one of your own and merged it with the other Intro you posted while I was doing that!.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the X150 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. Members there with XKR's will be able to offer opinions. You can also use the Australia - Queensland Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...queensland-92/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
