New Austin Tx Jaguar XJR owner
Hi,
I just picked up a 2001 Jaguar XJR and figured I'd join the forum for some information and check out yalls little corner on the web here....
I picked up my car a couple days ago she has 105k and everything except for a few minor things seem to be in working order.
So she will be my project sedan.
She needs a set of rear shocks, the bushings are cracked up front and I need to find a brake kit. Nothing is immediate but better sooner than later...
My name is Jason btw

Hello and thanks!
As far as plans here they are in some kind of order.
The rear hub bearings need addressing, there is a bit of play out rear.
The front shock bushings are crumbly and when going around 70 the steering wheel shimmys a bit
The rear shock lower bushing looks very worn and it looks like it has green Bilsteins but I'm not sure if it's a CATS system...
The rear passenger ashtray doesn't shut
The subwoofer is out
The rear rotors are a bit sketchy
I don't know what to do about the tensioners cars runs fine but I'm guessing that needs upgrading?
As far as as upgrades
Pulley for the blower
Xpipe and catback
Intercooler pump upgrade and heat exchanger upgrade
So I've got quite a few items to address... They all seem like normal things for this vehicle.

Welcome to the forum Jason,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link US Southwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
