Just bought myself a 2001 XKR Coupe, my 7th Jaguar. It has a few "issues" and google lead me to this forum. I am blown away at the size and scope of the site - so far all my issues (except getting my d900 scan tool to work).
Having retired 2 years ago due to Parkinsons Disease, I now have more time to play with the 3 Jaguars currently in my garage. My "wife" is extremely supportive and encourages my love of this very special marque - by way of example, she arranged for one of our sheds to get a new concrete floor and fit out. When finished, I will have room to garage 8 cars.
When browsing today for a problem with my MIL I stumbled on posts for members in Gippsland, Victoria which is where I live (Longford, VIC). Looking forward to getting to meet or converse with other enthusiasts in my vicinity.
Cheers - Guy

Welcome to the forum Guy,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham

Oh how I wish that you were correct. Alas force majour has worked against me.
E-type lost after asking for lift with 1st ex who said "if that *** thing (E type) has broken down again (transmission failure) why don't you get a decent car like a Porsche - I did that day - bad choice. 1st ex borrowed Porsche, hit tree - car written off - bought Aston Martin. Lovely car but too hard for me to restore.
Mk II secretly restored with the aid of a friend as birthday gift for 2nd wife. Turned out she wasn't into Jags and never drove it - ended up being sold when we divorced,
Third ex not interested in cars - especially after spending a cold winter night sleeping in the MK I after it broke down in the middle of nowhere and out of mobile range,
Fourth (current and last) other half likes Jaguars and encourages my hobby. Shortly after we got together she inherited 3 cars (Range Rover, Maxima and Corolla) to add to her Musso. Managed to rehome the Musso and Corolla so now we have just 5 cars - 60% Jaguar but I am working on it - please be patient.
