Default new cat in the garage...

We had our 2007 s type at the dealership for warranty work and ended up trading it in for a 2011 XJ. Thought we'd share some pics...

Verrrrrrry Nice! Wish I still had a warranty. Didn't know that was an option when you go for work to be done.

thanks...with the 2011 we got a 5yr/50,000 mile warranty that covers everything but tire replacement, including all scheduled maintenance and oil changes as well.

make sure its the right size...the forum will not 'resize' it for you like regular posting. Check dimensions and the file size...both.

Congratulations, very nice! Please keep us updated on your impressions of the car as you are probably the second member that has indicated that they own the new XJ!

Default XJ is the Only Option I had...Good Choice

Good choice on the XJ MD...unfortunitely I cant see your pics as of yet (I guess I am too new of a member). In any event, I hope I am as happy with my XJ as you are. I traded our BMW 745i for the XJ, as I was tired of the maintenance costs (over $13K spent in less than two years). The 2011 XJ was the only car I could find which knocked my socks off, so to speak.

MD...looks like you have the same color as ours (vapour grey)....yes??? Love ours as well...so far. The real test for me is reliability...although it does not hurt that it is a lot of fun to drive as well.

I'd really like to view your pic's but, being a newbie on the Forum, I guess I need to wait 'till I get those privileges. Keep us abreast of your impressions.

Congratulations.

I know exactly what you mean. When I first saw the car I couldn't stop looking at it. Call the wife over and she agreed.

I placed a deposit on a 2011 XJL the first week of June in California. My SA doesn't have any information on progress or even a likely delivery timeframe? Does anyone have any estimate of how long it takes to get a car from the time of deposit? Thanks.
