Hi, I知 Dave live in the Swinton area of Manchester, I have just purchased after a long search a 1998 XK8, its my first Cat and I知 really pleased with the the performance of the car, I bought it from a guy in Scotland and she handled like a dream on the 230mile drive home! After a couple of years owning an MGB GT this car is in a totally different league!! Looking forward to interacting with everyone because lm sure gonna have a lot of questions ill be asking over the next few months

Hi, Not been able to get the car in yet, its booked in for next Thursday, so much as I would like to I’m not using it until then but the engine does sound great, no knocking or strange noises and the drive back from Scotland went without a hitch! So touch wood my mechanic will give her the all clear! I’ve priced the secondary tensioners up on a few sites and the best price I’ve found is ｣80.00 for both which sounds reasonable, I bought her from a guy in Glenrothes about 40miles north of Edinburgh so it was a scenic drive back.
